Xtream to M3U: build a playlist when get.php is closed
Many providers disable get.php (HTTP 885, 404 or a truncated file) to save bandwidth. The player API is still there — and that is enough to rebuild a proper M3U. This converter reads categories and streams through player_api.php, lets you select what you need, and writes a playlist that keeps channel names, logos andtvg-id.

Step by step
- 1. Paste the panel URL (or aget.php link) and credentials. HTTP and HTTPS panels are both supported; the scheme is added automatically if you omit it.
- 2. Press “Scan and summarise”. The tool reports account status, category counts and channel counts. Counts are produced by streaming the JSON and counting keys — a 40 MB response is never parsed into memory.
- 3. Tick live / VOD / series and press “Download”. In Chrome and Edge the file is streamed straight to disk via the File System Access API; in Firefox and Safari the playlist is assembled in memory and then downloaded.
- 4. Test the result. A panel list is rarely 100% healthy — run it through the M3U checkerand keep only channels that answer.

Common errors and what they mean
- • 401 / 403 — wrong credentials, expired account, or the panel blocks your IP/user-agent.
- • Empty result — the account has no permission for that content type, or your category filter is too narrow.
- • Truncated file — the panel cut the response; export one content type at a time and retry.
- • Broken characters — the panel returned non-UTF-8 text; reopen the file as UTF-8 in your player.
Is this legal?
The converter is a formatting tool: it does not provide, host or sell any stream. It only helps you turn access you already have into a file format your player understands. Using it against someone else's account, or to redistribute content you are not licensed for, is on you — see theterms of use.
FAQ
The panel returns HTTP 885 or 404 on get.php — can I still build an M3U?+
Yes. get.php is only the "download everything at once" endpoint. The Xtream player API (player_api.php) usually stays open: it exposes categories and content separately (get_live_categories, get_vod_categories, get_series_categories, get_live_streams, get_vod_streams, get_series). This tool calls those endpoints for you, lets you pick categories and writes a standard M3U file.
Where do the server, username and password come from?+
A M3U Plus link looks like http://host:port/get.php?username=USER&password=PASS&type=m3u_plus. Paste that link and the credentials are extracted automatically, or type host, username and password manually. Nothing is stored: the values live in the page until you close it.
Why is the download split into pages?+
A big panel can hold 100,000+ entries. The tool requests live channels in a single call, then walks VOD categories and series in pages (for example 20 categories or 25 series per request) to stay inside Cloudflare Workers subrequest limits. Your provider benefits too: fewer simultaneous connections means fewer 403/429 errors.
What if the file stops halfway?+
Narrow the selection: pick one country or genre at a time, download live, VOD and series separately, and avoid running another player on the same account while the export runs. Single-connection panels drop any extra request, including the export.
